There is no easy way to say this. Jana passed away very suddenly, on Thursday night, Nov. 24.
I cannot write about her life, not yet. But I could not post a regular, chatty blog post as if nothing had happened.
Jana had many, many friends, some who knew her personally and some only through The Thinking Dog; I am sorry to share this sad news with you all.

Pam, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I am just so so sorry. My heart hurts for all of you. I wish there were words that could actually help or at least be useful, but I think we all know that those don’t really exist. Please know that there are so many that will also miss Jana, but feel so much for you – such an amazing person! It is just so sad that as wonderful as you are, you need to go through these deeply sad parts of life too. I look forward to the stories you remember and can share when you’re ready.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I only know you all through the blog and enjoy your posts. I understand this is a hard time and it’s always harder around holiday times. Try your utmost to be thankful for the joy you both shared and remember we will all join together one day over the Rainbow

I am so sorry to read about your recent loss. I have no doubt that you have many happy memories of Jana, so perhaps you could dwell on those while adjusting to life without her. I have no doubt that she would like to be remembered with happiness and smiles. Take care.
